Payment Terms

We accept several methods of payment: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Cash, or Personal Check. A minimum of a 50% deposit is required when the order is placed. The remaining balance due when delivery is scheduled.

Holds

There may be certain unforeseen circumstances that prevent a customer from accepting delivery upon arrival at our facility (e.g., home is under construction, travel, relocation, etc.) We are happy to hold the furniture at our climate-controlled warehouse; however, we do ask that any remaining balance be paid in full within 30 days of receipt of the furniture.

Warranty

Every piece of furniture we sell comes with a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Should you detect a defect or damages upon delivery, please note the exception with our delivery team and document on the delivery ticket. Issues with Amish handcrafted furniture is rare; however, should material failures occur within the one-year period, simply contact Amish Elegance and we will have the items repaired or replaced at our discretion with no charge to you. Unnatural use, commercial use or misuse of any item is not under our guarantee.

Wood Selections Available

Amish Elegance offers a wide selection of American hardwoods. Choose the type of wood that appeals to your specific tastes and needs. Our design team is knowledgeable about the various options and will assist in selecting the best fit for your project.

Stains

Numerous stain colors are available. Visit the Amish Elegance showroom to choose from hundreds of stain and paint selections. Stains will appear differently on the various wood species. We have many samples available on every type of hardwood that is available. Generally, our stains can complement and closely match existing furniture in your home. Numerous paint colors (Sherwin Williams or Finish Works) are available if painted furniture is desired. Due to the organic and original nature of the many wood species available, the stains can vary to a slight degree from the samples we have available. This is the beauty of REAL wood and no two pieces will look the same, making them beautifully and uniquely yours.

Finish

After the staining process, our products are finished with a catalyzed conversion varnish formulated to be virtually “Hazardous Air Pollutant” free. This product is low VOC and environmentally friendly. This premium grade finish is tough and resistant to scratches and spills and aids in the protection to the finish. Most furniture is made with a standard ‘satin’ finish; however, low sheen, as well as a high sheen finish, is available upon request.

Fabric and Ultra Fabric Options

Amish Elegance carries a wide variety of fabric samples in numerous colors, textures, and patterns. We recommend high-performance fabrics for furniture that is used on a regular basis. For example, kitchen and dining chairs as well as upholstered living room furniture. These fabrics have a high abrasion tolerance as well as stain-resistant and cleanable.
Ultra Fabric is a revolutionary product that is perfect for any home. This product is anti-microbial; breathable; does not fade, crack or peel; and is resistant to scratches. This is a pet- and kid-friendly product. It can be cleaned with Clorox wipes or other mild detergents.

Leather

Genuine cowhide leather is available on most of our upholstered seating. We offer high-quality leather for living, dining, and entertainment seating areas. A wide variety of color selections, textures, as well as hair-on hides are available. Due to the nature of real leather, variations in texture and pattern are to be expected. Leather takes on a subtle patina and color change with use. Think of a beautifully worn saddle, grandpa’s favorite chair, or the leather in your vintage automobile.

Customer’s Own Material Provided

On occasion, a particular fabric is required to coordinate with existing furniture, window treatments, or wallpaper in the customers’ home. Amish Elegance welcomes your unique design preferences. You may provide your own fabric to be used on any upholstered furniture selection you choose to complement your design. We will provide the yardage quantity of materials required to complete your custom project. Additionally, a variety of hardware, furniture tacks, topstitching, and welt is available.

Control the Environment

Your furniture responds to changes in temperature and humidity by expanding and contracting slightly. The recommended indoor humidity should be maintained in the 30 to 45 percent range and the temperature in the 60-to-80-degree range 365 days a year. Ultraviolet light from the sun and fluorescent fixtures can cause chemical changes in the wood and/or finish. Avoid placing furniture in an area where the sun will shine directly on it. Keep furniture away from direct sources of heating and cooling. Avoid storing furniture in an attic or cellar type environment.

Cancellation Policy

An order may be canceled within three days of purchase. You will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the deposit.

Custom order is our specialty. We do not offer any pre-made or pre-assembled furniture. Therefore, any cancellation after the three-day period will NOT be refunded. The deposit is forfeited.

Return Policy

Custom order items and showroom inventory purchases may not be returned, exchanged for store credit, or replaced with similar products.

White glove delivery

Your furniture arrives at your home blanket wrapped and ready to be placed where you designate. To ensure safe handling of your furniture and to protect your home, we assign how many delivery team members are needed based on the amount and sizes of the furniture to be delivered.

To make the delivery process as smooth as possible please ensure rooms are cleared and ready to accept delivery upon arrival. Our delivery team is well trained and equipped to carefully bring your new furniture to your home. You will always find our team to be professional in any communications with you, they are courteous and conscientious.

Customer pick-up

If you prefer, your furniture may be picked up at our climate-controlled warehouse. Amish furniture is heavy, so please be sure to have adequate help to load and unload.
